Support Little Flock Christian School

As a private Christian school, we have tuition rates around $6,200 per student. These rates are thousands of dollars less per student than it costs to educate a student and provide quality facilities. At LFCS, we are committed to keeping tuition affordable and we make up the difference through efficiency, good stewardship and charitable contributions.

Little Flock Christian School is dedicated to providing a solid Christian education to families in the community by providing our student and teachers the best tools available for teaching and learning.  We are passionate about Christian education and excited at the rapid growth of the school. Our goal is to continue to provide our students a top notch education, enrichment programs, professional teachers and extracurricular activities that help each student become exceptionally prepared for the future.

We believe God will provide abundantly through giving according to the ability and heart given to all those who touch our school. Therefore, we ask you to prayerfully consider making a financial contribution to LFCS.

POWER SERVE 2009

This year, Little Flock  Christian School  took on a “Power Serve” Serve-a-Thon fundraiser in hopes of not only raising funds for our school’s growing needs, but also to teach our students the concept of community service and encourage them to love and serve those less fortunate than ourselves.

Our Service Projects

Care Packages for impoverished Veterans—Preschool and Kindergarten Service

Preschoolers and Kindergartners assembled over 150 “care packages” for local homeless and impoverished Veterans.  This project will hopefully be an opportunity for our children to say, “Thank You,” to the many men and women who risked their lives to preserve our freedom.  Packages went to the U.S. Armed Forces Retirement Home while larger items were delivered to five local Fisher Houses taking care of wounded warriors and their families.

A Musical Concert for residents at Sunrise—

1st– 3rd Grade Students

First through third  grade students visited Sunrise Senior Living to perform a concert for residents. Students prepared special art projects to give as gifts to the residents during their visit. The students had a wonderful time singing and sharing the art with residents.

Yard Clean Up at Pathway Homes—

4th-6th Grade Students

Students, teachers and parents headed to two Pathway homes and raked over 20 bags of leaves. They truly learned it is better to give than receive.

SPIRIT NIGHTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR

Spirit Night at Fuddruckers on Chain Bridge Road in Fairfax, Thursday, February 19, 2009 from 5:30-8:00pm.

Enjoy good food and fellowship while raising money for LFCS! This is a great opportunity to fellowship with Little Flock families and staff at a local restaurant and a portion of the proceeds from the evening go to the school.  We will be enjoying two spirit nights during the 2008-2009 school year. Look for dates and locations coming soon!

   BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION   

Save these colorful little coupons found on certain food products, each one is worth 10 cents.  All we have to do is collect them and send them in.  We will be having class competitions to see who can save the most.  Also, when you shop online, go through the Box Tops 4 Education web site to earn money for our school. Simply register at www.boxtops4education.com and then every time you shop, go to this web site first and then to your location.

    GIANT A+ BonusBUCKS  

 Each shopping trip at Giant using your BonusCard earns CASH for our school!  All you have to do is log on to www.giantfood.com/aplus to designate on-line.  After you designate our school, use your BonusCard when you shop, and each month, the amount of CASH awarded will be updated on the Giant website.  Our school will receive a check at the end of the program.  The money can be used for any of our school's educational needs.  Our School ID is 05324.

  eScrip Fundraising   

eScrip is a hassle-free way for schools to raise funds through everyday purchases made at SAFEWAY and other merchant stores.  You shop the way you like to shop for groceries, clothing, travel and entertainment.  These merchants then contribute a percentage of purchases to our school.  All you need to do is register your Safeway Club card, and any other debit, ATM or credit cards you would like.  To register, please go to www.escrip.com and click on Members/Supporters.  Then click on Sign-up; our school ID is 500002174. 

      Office Depot “ 5% Back TO School Program       

Office Depot will donate 5% of all purchases made to our school.  Every time you shop in the store or online, be sure to mention our School ID # - 70209412.

       Target  Take Charge of Education    

Target donates 1% of all Target Visa and Target Card purchases made at Target stores, and a ½ % of Target Visa purchases made elsewhere.  To register, please go to www.target.com/tcoe and click on Find or Designate School.  Our School ID is 122791.

BOOKS FOR FUNDS

Books for Funds has great quality Christian books for all ages. Books for Funds will continue to give Little Flock Christian School 20% of the purchase price from all online purchases. The books will be shipped directly to you. Orders over $25.00 receive free shipping.
