History St. Mark’s Coptic Orthodox Church of Washington, D.C., believes that it is God’s calling for His Church to help raise children and guide them to “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 3:18). While parents and guardians have the primary responsibility of educating their children, the church exists to assist in this process. With that goal in mind, the church established Little Flock Christian School (LFCS) in 2003.
